Custom knife making!

Good news! My books are currently open, which means I am happy to build you your dream knife! Anything’s possible, as long as materials are available, it’s within the bounds of the law, and of course as long as itll fit in my heat treating oven (max around 18 inches), although there may be a professional heat treating service out there that can facilitate a larger blade (I may have to question your choices though at this point!). The basic way it works after this is:

• Chat about your knife, materials, steel selection, design etc, and price agreed.
• You`ll pay 50% down as a deposit, which will sit in an an account for 2 weeks, and will only be refundable during that period, just in case you change your mind, this is to cover the cost of materials, and basically employ me. During this time we will finalise and agree on every aspect of the build, which you will not be able to change once I start working.
• after the 2 week cooling off period, that money becomes non-refundable, due to the sometimes unusual nature of bespoke peices.
• I then start work, ordering materials and get to making, keeping you updated of progress. Once I have started the build, I will not accept any design changes, so it really is vital to get it all straight from the start of our chats and before the 2 weeks are up.
• Finally, I finish the build, and assuming you are happy, you pay the remaining balance and I ship your knife straight to you and you have many years of happy usage!
• PLEASE NOTE: AS WITH ALL MY KNIVES, STRICTLY OVER 18`s ONLY!! ID must be provided when you first get in touch, a simple photo of your drivers licence or passport is fine, this is a legal requirement in the UK and I will not provide this service without ID. In addition to this, please aquaint yourself with current UK knife law, and DO NOT ask me to build anything that is against the law! I will not only blacklist you, but also tell others in the UK maker community not to serve you, and I may also report you to the authorities, I AM NOT A WEAPONS MAKER, and very much opposed to violence.
